Flight Sergeant Arthur George Reid (Air Gunner) was the son of

F/S Reid  died after Towing Horsa Glider PF753 (testing new crew). Shot down by a German intruder and crashed along the Old Roman Road near Great Dunmow.

Woods, 176742 – F/Sgt R.D. Payne, 1391069 and F/Sgt R.M. Dauncey, 1431216. (Air Britain: Hit trees and cables in circuit near Great Dunmow and crashed, Newton Fields, Essex).
